Josiah Chung - Lead Pastor
Growing up here, Pastor Josiah loves NJ. He has a passion for the local church and believes it possesses the hope of the world. He values intergenerational and collaborative ministries that break down barriers and glorifies God. Though he is an introvert, Pastor Josiah loves conversations on all sorts of topics like sports, food, history, astronomy and on the future of his favorite team, the New York Mets. If he isn’t preparing a sermon or reading a book, he will be road-tripping with his wife Aileen and kids (Sophia and Aaron) or out pounding the pavement on a long run.
Joe Kim - Young Adults
Joe met God in a garage and was called to ministry at the ripe old age of 28. He has been serving the Lord faithfully since 2009. Being an extrovert, he is not ashamed to go out of his way to meet new people. A nerd at heart, he loves all things that involve comic books and technology. Married to his beautiful wife, Joy, they have two very unique sons, Jeremy and Jaden. Through his family, Joe is able to learn the sacrificial love of Christ that he so joyfully shares in his ministry.
Michelle Yi - 147 Ministry (Christian Education)
Dream, do, scream: These are the words Michelle lives by in her personal life & ministry. She has been in youth ministry since 2014, dreaming up ways to engage youth & show them the love of Jesus. As of 2023, she has gotten married and expanded her role to be the 147 Ministry Education Director & 147 Kid’s Pastor continuing the dream to create crazy ideas to minister to our education department as a whole. She loves to get excited for Jesus! You can catch her on a Sunday doing body worship in one of her crazy costumes!
Eugenia Ko - 147 Youth Ministry Pastor
Eugenia has served in youth ministry for 25+ years and loves to see young people fall in love with Jesus. She is a worship leader who desires to create space where people can intimately encounter the Lord. Growing up as a pastor's kid, she also has a huge heart for PK's and her desire is to see healing, reconciliation and restoration in ministry families. She was a painting and sculpting major in college and is currently expressing her creativity through quilting and bag-making. Much of her free time is devoted to being "mom" to a loveable but strong-willed dachshund named Winston.
Sophia Heo- 147 Ministry Childrens Pastor
Recently moving to New Jersey post-grad, Sophia joined Cornerstone at the end of 2024. She encountered the love of God at the beginning of college and dedicated much of her time throughout undergrad to missional work and serving the local community. She took a gap year to do longer-term missions in Haiti and Mexico, where God grew her heart for children's ministry and serving the Church. Upon returning and graduating, she began serving as a children's pastor. Outside of ministry, she is working as an oncology RN, trying different NYT top 100 restaurants, and getting ready to get married.
Aileen Chung- Director of Pre K and Toddler
Aileen has been appointed as the Director of Pre-K and Toddler Sunday School at Cornerstone. With over 25 years of experience as a piano teacher, she has developed a deep understanding of child-centered education and the importance of nurturing each child with care and attentiveness. She has served on short-term mission trips to Paraguay, Mongolia, and the Dominican Republic, sharing God’s love with children and families around the world. In addition to her heart for missions, she is also a gifted worship leader, having led worship for more than seven years. She is married to our Pastor Josiah and is a proud mother of two children—and their beloved dog, Jinju. Her joyful spirit, gentle leadership, and love for children make her a true blessing to the youngest members of the church family.
Andy Lee - Worship & Media
Andy first attended Cornerstone in 2000 and quickly felt a belonging within the congregation, which led to an early commitment to join the Praise Team and eventually serving in different capacities aboard worship ministries around the area. Since studying with the Integrity Worship Institute he has served as KCCNJ’s Youth & English Ministry Worship Pastor and is now thrilled to lead Cornerstone in worship. Behind the scenes he’s a comic book loving foodie that loves a good movie.
